Etsy Seller Review: Paper Demon Jewelry

I came across Paper Demon Jewelry while I was looking for earrings for a Christmas gift for a friend. Not only did I end up purchasing said earrings, I also couldn't resist Paper Demon Jewelry's adorable owl plushies! So cute!! It looks awesome on my letterpress shelf.

Above is my owl on my letterpress shelf with some matchboxes from Swap Bot and a Tic Toc Apocalypse Blind Box Toy. Yes, I collect weird things.

It's been awhile since I have done structured seller reviews, but I think I should get back into it since they seem like they could be useful. For a note about my scoring, go to this post.

Workmanship:
EXCELLENT!! The earrings are dainty, but sturdy and apparently well-sealed, the little owl plushie is stitched beautifully. Really, really good quality.

Creativity:
I haven't seen anything like her stuff on Etsy. Paper Demon Jewelry designs are unique and well-executed.

Price:
The jewelry is on the pricey side, but the plushies seem inexpensive given the work that must go into them. I don't think anything is overpriced or inflated, given the work going into it all. In fact, I think Paper Demon Jewelry could get away with charging much more for her stuffies!

Delivery Speed:
Arrived within a week!

Packaging:
Good packaging, although the fuzzy stuff used to pack the box got stuck on the earrings a little...

Overall:
Really good experience, high quality stuff and adorable products!! Check out some of my favorites from Paper Demon Jewelry below!

Cute Animal Art!!!

Discovered a new shop full of art I want to buy! I bought an adorable keychain and an original ACEO, both featuring adorable fat cats. So cute!! Here are some other (freaking adorable) things in her shop. I can recommend this seller as I enjoyed speedy delivery and good packaging as well as an adorable product.

Check Out My New Blog!

No, I am not going to abandon this blog. My Bff, Emily, and I are writing a blog in which we review books. It's called Em and Emm Expound on Exposition.

We have several awesome reviews up so far, and are hungrily reading so we can write more. We even got another friend to write a guest-review for the blog. Below are some of the books I have reviewed so far, with my helpful paw print rating system applied to the books! Note that there are a bunch of reviews not listed here that were written by my friends.

  • Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

  • Nomad by Ayaan Hirsi Ali

  • SuperFreakanomics by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner

  • Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore

  • The New Atheism by Victor Stenger

    Etsy Seller Review: HotPinkChick

Although I have been a busy little Etsy shopper lately, I haven't been motivated to write about it for a while. (Blame Swap Bot) But now I am motivated because HotPinkChick is so awesome in ever way!
For a note about my scoring, go to this post. On May 9th I ordered a hair comb and earrings from HotPinkChick. They either arrived on the 12th or 13th of May.

    Workmanship:
They seem very sturdy. Time will tell how well the glue and the pieces hold, but I am optimistic!

    Creativity:
I think this seller does a great job with the style of her pieces. I don't know that it's the most original thing I have seen, but it's the best carried-out of this type of jewelery that I have encountered on Etsy.

    Price:
A little on the high end for the materials maybe, but still reasonable and I happily paid it so I can't complain! No shipping charges either, which is always a nice touch.

    Delivery Speed:
Very fast! Either 3 or 4 days. She did not waste any time at all, it would seem.

    Packaging:
Sturdy bubble envelope. The items were enclosed in a nice, padded gift-box.

    Overall:
Super awesome! She even included a bonus decorated bobbie pin!
